This client came to us looking to increase traffic and visibility to his guided mountaineering website. Ultimately, Walk Snowdonia wanted to grow their small business into a flourishing travel and tourism success through an increase in web generated leads.
The website was originally built in WIX and developed by the site owner himself during COVID. He had harnessed a great mountain of Google reviews from satisfied clients, and in turn, word-of-mouth was one of the main sources of lead generation to the site.

Our client, who was already a competent writer, had launched a website showcasing mountain guiding and local walks. The aim was to enhance their website’s search engine rankings through the creation of relevant blog content.
Climbing Snowdon and visiting Snowdonia itself is on many people’s bucket list (even ours!). But in a relatively competitive online landscape, the challenge was to ensure that any potential clients clicked through to Walk Snowdonia, as opposed to an alternative walking holiday website.
After performing thorough keyword research, we devised a robust SEO content strategy to establish the website as not only a dependable source of information on Snowdon, but the expert within its niche.
Our approach began with crafting pillar articles and response posts, designed to engage both new and returning visitors within the adventure tourism space. It is so important to create informative content by answering potential questions that hikers and ramblers might have.
Topics such as “when is the best time to climb?”, “what should I bring on a hike?” etc. These questions all form the basis for trust, so putting on someone else’s mountain shoes and providing them with valuable information was important.
Within the space of 6 months, the site doubled its organic traffic and won multiple different featured snippets.
