Where we started
Cinergi, a Southampton-based business, has been a trusted name in the domestic and commercial heating business for over four decades. The key to their continued success is down to their great customer service and how they have evolved their services from traditional boiler installations to the latest renewable energy solutions.
When they approached Targeted SEO in 2022, it’s fair to say that their website didn’t quite match their industry prowess. The site was dated, basic and in desperate need of an overhaul. Needless to say, organic traffic was low and online leads were lacklustre. The website simply wasn’t supporting Cinergi’s goal of becoming one of the leading installers of air source heat pumps in the South.
However, we recognised that Cinergi was at the top of their game and were confident we could build a website to match. So we embarked on a dynamic web design, content and SEO strategy to supercharge their organic visibility and traffic.
What we delivered
New, SEO-ready website
We built Cinergi, a brand new, fully optimised website from the ground up. We used every SEO tool at our disposal to ensure it got the attention of Google, including meta descriptions, schema markup, URL structure, and title tags. This website wasn’t just SEO-friendly, it was SEO-hungry!
Brand enhancing website design
Far from being just functional, the new website was designed to be brand-enhancing and visually engaging. Cinergi already had an established logo, which we used as the basis for a cohesive and striking design.
Engaging, conversion-driving content
At Targeted SEO, great content is one of our strengths. In time for launch, we crafted dedicated service pages, each targeting specific services like air source heat pump installation. The pages were designed to drive conversions, with crystal-clear calls to action and useful, engaging content.
We also optimised some existing blog content and created new blog content with Cinergi’s input. Regular blogs have helped establish Cinergi as a reliable voice as well as bolstering their online visibility by winning featured snippets.
Local SEO
Cinergi’s goal was to dominate search results, particularly for air-source heat pumps. We embarked on a local SEO campaign covering Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex. The result? Cinergi is now on page one for searches for air source heat pump installers in all of these counties.
Support for Paid Advertising campaigns
During the first 12 months, Cinergi decided to bolster its website traffic using PPC ads. While we are specialists at organic SEO, we know how effective PPC can be when combined with organic SEO techniques. So we supported them and worked with a strategic PPC partner to ensure that the content, branding and user experience were consistent.
