Where we started
Project Multi Pest already had a website when they approached Targeted SEO in 2021, but it was virtually invisible, floundering in the depths of the SERPs. PMP offers a highly competitive and professional service, and they were frustrated at their lack of visibility in local searches.
They wanted to start ranking for their key services throughout Kent and London and generate those all-important leads.
Their website was sorely out of date, with very little content and no on-page optimisation. So we pretty much started from scratch.
What we delivered
A stand out Pest Control brand
First thing first, we tackled PMP’s branding. We spent some time with the owner-manager, getting to know them, the business, their USPs and particular service style.
A picture emerged of a down-to-earth company, passionate about natural and humane methods of pest removal. The heart of PMP is their use of falconry and dogs, so we incorporated them into a new logo, from which the rest of the website design flowed.

New, SEO-ready website
Next we built a new, fully optimised website from scratch. This, of course, included all of the technical requirements for good SEO, ie. meta descriptions, schema markup, URL structure and title tags. The new site lifted the brand and made PMP appear much more like the professional company they are. We also spent time on off-page optimisation, such as building citations and establishing a good Google My Business profile, all vital tactics for good search visibility.
Content, content, content!
Great content is key to what we do at Targeted SEO, so our next task was to create as much good stuff as we could in time for the website launch. We developed individual service pages for the pests that PMP wanted to target, with distinct calls to action and compelling content, bursting with (carefully integrated) keywords.
The guys at PMP are busy people, so we used the existing content from their old website and spent hours of research and copywriting time to get the content and tone of voice just right.
Continuous development
Our clients will attest that we are forever banging on about SEO being a sustained effort and a waiting game. We weren’t expecting overnight results following the website launch, that’s just not how SEO works.
We knew it would take time for Google to get to know and trust the site, and in the meantime we continued to pack the PMP site with as much valuable content as possible.

The result
Project Multi Pest have been thrilled with the results of the campaign, seeing their rankings soar and a steady flow of online enquiries each month. Business is booming and they are finally getting the visibility and credibility they deserve for their fantastic pest control services.
The site gets so much traffic that the Ezoic advertising network approached them to integrate display adverts into their blog as a form of monetisation.
We continue to develop and maintain PMP’s website to keep them at the top of the pile.

I highly recommend Targeted SEO to anyone serious about making their pest control business a success. I have been impressed with the quality work supplied which has enabled my business to grow and profit.
